Crib Shots

Crib time; I have always adored the pictures taken in a babies crib. It's where they spend quite a bit of time and it's such a natural environment for them to be photographed in. Cribs now can be so simple or so outrageous and either way shooting a baby in their "home" is very special. I thought because I love all these types of shots I should try to get some sweet memories of Avery in her dwelling. I love them and am so glad that I took the time to do these shots. The light in her room and of course the pink surroundings lights up each shot in such a pretty way. I am very excited to do some more shoots of little ones in their own cribs and to capture the most intimate moments of a little ones beginnings.

I spy...<3

So precious no words...

Capturing Avery's perspective of her wall art! I think she loves it!

4 months old is not a newborn any more; These past few months have gone by so fast I don't even know where to start. Avery is just over 4 months now and she is doing so many new things, especially in the last week or so it's hard to keep up! She's laughing, rolling over (once) and of course her Dad and I both missed it. She is now making noises that we make and communicating that way which is super fun and soooo adorable! She loves watching her Disney sing-a-long, and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I've never seen a baby so into music and tv!!

Avery almost sitting on her own at 4 months!

I do have a question to those fellow Mom's who are reading this. Avery has been an amazing sleeper as of 2 months old. She has always had her bath bottle and bed and gone right to sleep and woke up the next morning. She recently has decided to wake up in the middle of the night wide awake! I don't know why? Or what to do about it? I am going back to work in a week and need her to be sleeping through the night again...I have tried a later bed time but she gets so grumpy she wants to be put down at 8pm. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Avery just discovering her feet too! Love to eat them lol

"Brother and Sister shoot; this sweet shoot was super fun for me as these two little munchkins are my cousins! They were so fun to work with, letting me twist them and turn them however I wanted! They didn't fight or argue either!! Looking at these pics really made me wish I had some like this of my brother and I when we were younger..."Pictures are a treasure that can hold great memories that are dear to our hearts." Brody Everett Adams, was a sweet little one that I had the pleasure of shooting. He was definitely a Momma's boy and Allison was loving every minute of it!! Although he was fussy as most newborns can be during a shoot he did really well! I got some great pics for the family.

This shot was for Dad as he loves baseball!!

Family love using Brody's feet and hands<3

Sleep tight handsome baby boy!

Hello everyone!! I am sorry I haven't written in awhile. Avery and I have been busy bees, and we are just catching up on everything we left back at home now. It has been a beautiful two days and we have been enjoying every minute of them! Avery is fast asleep as I write this, as we just went out for a very long fabulous walk! I was so excited to see the sun shine that I decided to shoot Avery playing in it! She seems very content with the beautiful weather and I hope she becomes a summer lover like her Mother!

Avery making silly faces while enjoying her exersaucer in the much needed sunshine!!!

While in Edmonton Avery and I went shopping at the West Edmonton Mall...I couldn't resist the adorable headband, perfect for summer. Plus everyone tells me she has so much hair I should be putting ribbons and bows in it! I love this colour on Avery, it's beautiful with her big blues! I just hope when she's older looking at these pictures she doesn't hate me for the hair pieces, outfits and props that I use...LOL

Love this shot, looking Up!
